Potrero Energy (“we,” “us”) designs and installs solar, battery, and smart electrical systems for Bay Area homeowners. This policy explains what information we collect through potreroenergy.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

When you request an estimate or a consultation, we collect what you give us: your name, email address, phone number, home address, and details about your home and energy use, such as your typical PG&E bill and anything you tell us about your project. When you book a call, our scheduling provider collects your contact details and the time you pick. We also use analytics and advertising tools that collect usage data, such as pages visited and how you found us.

How we use it

We use your information to prepare your estimate, answer your questions, schedule and hold consultations, and deliver and service your system. We use aggregate usage data to improve the site, and we report conversion events, such as a submitted form, to the advertising platforms we buy ads from so we can measure what is working.

Text messaging

By providing your phone number, you agree to receive text messages from Potrero Energy about your project, such as scheduling, estimate follow-ups, and installation updates. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that run our business, such as our CRM, scheduling, email, telephone, and analytics tools, and only so they can provide those services to us. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

Retention and security

We keep project records for as long as we service your system and as required for warranty, licensing, and tax purposes. We limit access to your information to the people who need it to do their jobs.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to records we are required to keep. California residents have these rights under the CCPA.
