Each 16 kWh EG4 PowerPro battery module adds $6,400 before any program discount. Most homes install 32 kWh (two modules), which covers evening usage and keeps essentials running through an outage. The calculator lets you adjust battery size and watch the price change.
Wiring the system for whole-home backup adds $5,000 before any program discount. That covers the GridBoss transfer equipment and tie-in, so the whole house, not just a few circuits, runs during a PG&E outage or Public Safety Power Shutoff.

The federal residential solar tax credit ended for homeowner-owned systems placed in service after 2025. Business clean energy tax credits are still available for eligible company-owned systems, so Potrero offers a Tax Credit Program: we own the system for an initial period, claim the available business tax credits, and pass the value through as a 20% lower upfront price.
